Wood, 65, who recently got married for the third time to Sally Humphreys, revealed that he won a chance to spend time with Johansson at a charity auction.
Making a surprise appearance at Malcolm Arnold Academy in Northampton on Wednesday, Ronnie admitted that due to the 28-year-old's busy schedule they are yet to enjoyed each other's company.

The Rolling Stone icon's appearance came after the school's sponsor David Ross won a guitar lesson with him at a charity auction, which is the same event Ronnie successfully bid for Scarlett.
Speaking about his winning advance, Wood said: 'I won a date with Scarlett Johansson but it hasn't come to fruition yet as she has been too busy filming.'

At the three-hour visit, the 65-yeared admitted: 'I'd rather be here than at the Brits.'
Going into detail he added: 'I chose to come here instead of going to the Brits as there is too much pressure getting over to the O2.'

He said afterwards: 'I really enjoyed it. The questions the students asked me were very inventive and thoughtful and I spoke to them about my career.
'The school looks pretty good, I wouldn't mind turning the clock back and coming here myself.'
