Adrienne Maloof's surrogacy secret revealed: The truth behind her fight with Brandi Glanville that wasn't shown on TV

Brandi Glanville blurted out a ‘personal secret’ about Adrienne Maloof during filming of their reality show this season, sparking a furious feud and legal battle between the pair.
But to the disappointment of viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the comment was edited out by Bravo bosses, leaving fans wondering what really happened.
Now the details have finally emerged - Glanville, 40, revealed Maloof, 51, used a surrogate to have her twins Christian and Colin, 6, according to the new issue of Us Weekly.
Maloof is understood to have carried her first son, Gavin, nine, naturally but had a complicated pregnancy.

She was furious when she discovered Glanville had divulged the information on camera as she had not yet told her children.

 

A source told the magazine: ‘A child psychologist recommended she wait until they are 10 years old. She doesn’t want them teased at school or asked about it.’

The businesswoman and her then husband, Paul Nassif, 50, retaliated upon hearing the news from fellow cast member Kim Richards by sending out a cease-and-desist via lawyers.
The source added: ‘It basically said, “Shut the f**k up.” Adrienne is furious. She despises Brandi.’

The Bravo network was forced to cut the scenes from the final edit of the show due to legal reasons.
In a strange twist, Glanville – the former wife of actor Eddie Cibrian – has now become friends with Nassif following the couple's split.
But her feud with Maloof rages on.
An insider told the magazine: ‘It’s crazy that Paul can befriend Brandi after what she did to the kids.’

According to Glanville, Nassif has even said sorry for taking legal action.
She claimed: ‘I run into him every once in a while. He’s lovely and we text occasionally. He actually apologised for his behaviour [about the cease-and-desist].
Adrienne told the publication in December that she is extremely protective of her youngsters and did not want them featured in the series at all.

The star – who joined the cast in season two - said: ‘From the very beginning of the show I set parameters and made it clear that my children would not be in the story line.’
The shoe designer and co-owner of the various business holdings of Maloof Companies likes to keep the focus on her career.
A source said: ‘She barely even talks about her kids on television. She is all about her business son the show.
As the third season goes on, the broken friendship does not get repaired, in fact, the pair are by no means on speaking terms.
The source added: ‘As the season progresses Brandi and Adrienne ignore each other during filming. They don’t have an amicable conversation. They don’t speak. Period. There is no way they’ll ever be friends again.’
For now Adrienne is focusing on her budding romance with Rod Stewart’s son Sean.
The 32-year-old former Celebrity Rehab star is said to be ‘amazing with her kids’.
Meanwhile it has emerged Adrienne's much-younger new toyboy lover Sean Stewart, 32, has moved into her Beverly Hills mansion.
A source told Radar: 'Sean has moved into Adrienne’s Mulholland Estates rental home.
'A lot of Adrienne’s friends are extremely concerned about the relationship because it’s getting very serious very fast. 
'Sean has a reputation as a womanizer, and he doesn’t have steady employment.
'The most distressing thing to Adrienne’s friends is that she is already getting very defensive of Sean and his bad boy ways. 
'The relationship is moving extremely fast and no one wants to see Adrienne get hurt.'
