Amy Smart celebrates turning 37 with a family meal... but keeps it casual as she dresses down

There's nothing like a bunch of flowers to make a good day great.
And Amy Smart certainly seemed chuffed as she received a huge bouquet on her 37th birthday on Monday.
The actress grinned as she carried the beautiful blooms outside of Cafe Med in West Hollywood, California.
There she dined with her husband and parents, marking her special day in style.

Enjoying the warm weather, the family opted for outdoor seating.
And Amy relaxed her diet for the day - tucking into the Italian food.
The Just Friends star dressed down in a clinging blue top that she paired with cuffed denim trousers and metallic boat shoes.
Amy had on a long white costume necklace with a pretty pink flower on it.

Her company didn't get too fancy either, as Carter was seen in loose-fitted grey trousers and a long-sleeved black tee.
The petite star was seen walking her parents to their car before sending them off with an embrace.
Giving her beau a proper goodbye, she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a kiss.
The TV personality appeared to have ended the party early, snapped giving Amy's parents a hug goodbye as well.

Amy told People shortly after her 2011 wedding: 'We got assigned to adopt a school garden together.
'We met, and we were both in relationships, so we just remained friends.
'And then we both got out of relationships around the same time, a year ago this summer. And then a year later we got married.'

'He is actually the most balanced person that I've ever met, so he obviously knows a lot about building, a lot about green building,' Amy said about her beau.
'I learn more and more every day, but he's not super dominating. It's never his way or the highway. He allows me to do what I need to do in the house.'
