They may have merely been running errands, but Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi still managed to turn it into a romantic day out.
As usual the celebrity couple looked incredibly loved up as they strolled in the Los Angeles sunshine together on Saturday.
The talk show host and the actress were giggling like schoolgirls as they made their way to their car together.

Ellen lovingly wrapped her arm around her wife and Portia reciprocated the affection by holding her other half’s hand.
The happy pair certainly looked like the perfect match as they headed off together.
Ellen was sporting a purple gingham shirt, dark boyfriend jeans and white Nike trainers.

Ellen and Portia, who both have blonde pixie cuts, also wore identical aviator sunglasses.
As they approached Ellen’s silver Porsche, the 55-year-old skipped forward and sweetly opened the passenger door for Portia, 40.

Australian born beauty Portia then hopped inside while Ellen made her way to the driver’s side and the pair were seen zooming off together.
On Tuesday Portia was seen doing some horse riding at a Los Angeles equestrian centre, and the star has been indulging in her favourite hobby regularly of late.
Portia and Ellen own a 26-acre farm together, and Ellen bought her beloved wife a horse to mark the first anniversary of their romance in 2005.

Portia, who has adopted Ellen's surname away from her professional life, revealed she was thrilled with the gift and said she planned to spend as much time with her new horse as possible at their new California farm.
She said: 'We bought a ranch with 120 acres and Ellen bought me a horse, Jones, who's a beautiful big gray gelding.
'Eventually I just want to rescue animals and live on that farm.'
